Our Approach

About

Inner Peace Society (IPS) was incorporated in 2013 as a USA 501(c)3 organization to ease suffering through small hands-on projects. In India, we are working in rural villages of "untouchables", to provide health programs, better education resources and jobs. In the USA, we work in prisons teaching mindfulness and meditation to inmates and partnering with organizations that help inmates transition back into society. Our vision is to give individuals the tools and resources they need to lift themselves out of poverty and hopelessness. We are passionately dedicated to helping others help themselves.

Erica Taylor

Co-Founder

Erica Taylor loves traveling and meeting new people, having lived in Mexico, Europe, and eventually traveling to India where after just one month, she decided to sell everything she owned to become a true global traveler. She runs a PR and Social Media company which makes it easy for her to work anywhere in the world, as long as she has wifi and a computer. When she arrived in India for the first time in 2011, she instantly fell in love–with the people, the country, and the culture. She was particularly touched by the young children on the streets and country roads in and around Bodh Gaya, Bihar.  Their aspirations and challenges led to her to join with Nima and Manish to create Inner Peace Society.
